Materials for this Unit
This unit has been designed in such a way that the learners can be active agents in their own learning. As such, the various lessons will require learners to create many of their own materials and resources. Certain materials will need to be made available to the learners in order for them to acomplish this.
-Learners need a notebook for activities which require journaling
or free-writing.
-Learners should have 6 pocket folders
(1 per week) to keep all materials organized. Alternatively, learners can
keep a binder with weeks
separated by dividers.
-Any visuals printed for use should be done so in color to maintain the
quality of the visual.
-Learners will need highlighters to help mark any readings used in class.
-Learners will need access to materials for making posters / various projects.
