Teaching Legal Topics to Non-Native Speakers of English 

The unit of study outlined on this website should be used as a reference for the trajectory of the unit and not as a definitive time line. Topics should be expanded appropriately as per the needs of the learners in each class. Some topics and themes may require more time than indicated on the calendar, so this unit plan has been designed with that flexibility in mind. The goal of this unit is depth of comprehension of the many legal topics and situations which impact the lives of our learners directly. The integrity of that flexibility should be respected and maintained for optimum learning
